Started on this project as the lead carpentry labour contractor, supplying and managing a team of six builders on-site. Due to the scale of the development and the leadership shown throughout construction, I was later brought on by the main contractor as Site Manager while continuing to operate my own team on the project.
Architectural Staircase & Feature Artwork

One of the most technically detailed aspects of this project was the construction of a custom architectural staircase alongside the installation of a large feature artwork display. Both elements required a high level of accuracy and coordination to achieve the architect's vision and deliver a seamless finished result.
The feature artwork was installed using a Rondo framing system, providing a robust and precise fixing structure that ensured the panels could be aligned accurately and securely.
Architectural Feature Installation

One of the more unique and rewarding aspects of this project was the installation of a large architectural artwork feature to the building façade. Designed to enhance the appearance of the building, the feature was installed in accordance with the architect's plans and specifications, requiring careful set-out and attention to detail to achieve the desired finish.
To support the installation, we incorporated 21mm structural plywood behind the cladding system. This provided continuous fixing support across the entire area, eliminating the risk of missed framing locations and ensuring a secure, long-lasting installation.
This was a great learning experience for our team, as it involved a level of planning and coordination beyond a typical cladding installation. Seeing the finished artwork become a standout feature of the building was a rewarding result and something we were proud to be involved in.
Working in both management and hands-on construction gave me a strong understanding of project delivery from the ground up - balancing site leadership, trade coordination, and workmanship to keep projects running efficiently and on schedule, below is more photos of the project.
